Where I was for 5 days

I went to Rome for 5 days. This is the first thing I saw. It is called the Trevi Fountain.
At dinner, I saw an old friend, Maryan. She was my art teacher when I was in Rome for a year. These are paper boats I made. Clinton taught me how to make them. He is one of dad's students.
This is the Forum we went there in the morning.
This is the colosseum. This is where they used to have gladiator fights. Cortlynn if you are reading this, this is what I told you about in my Ruthless Romans book.
This is what I ate for lunch. This is lamb, a baby sheep. It is my favorite thing to eat in Rome.
I went to the Pantheon today. It has a hole in the top of it. It is a church. Pantheon means church of the world.
This is a creepy skeleton we saw in a church we went to  in Rome.
These are the stairs in the Maxie museum by Zaha. I told you about her in the earlier post.
Today we went to Ostia. It is a museum of ruins. It used to be a city and then it got covered by dirt. Then a new city was built and then you see the old city today.
This is a tunnel where the slaves heated the floors for the baths. We got to go down there and dad did not. Ha Ha.
This is the guy at our favorite restaurant in Rome. He never leaves this one seat. I wonder why:)
